cwayne986
I have to first say that this build is very fast and snappy compared to my previous installs of Windows 7/8/8.1/10__ Spartan is quick when browsing and downloading, the feature to right click and ask Cortana is nice as well, it displays relevant results and works great so far, also I am very pleased to be able to finally resize my start menu again!!! With that being said I will list below my system specs and then my top three issues I have encountered. If anyone has had similar issues I would love to hear about them and see if mine are isolated events or if there may be a workaround/fix for them. I must also state that I am completely aware that this is a unreleased build and that it is full of bugs, I merely just want to see if anyone else has ran into the same problems. Thanks. Specs: Dell Inspiron 570 Desktop Windows 10 Build 10056 x64 Cool Master G650M Pwr. Supply AMD Athlon II X2 250 10.0GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 532MHz (7-7-7-20) Dell Inc. 04GJJT? Motherboard 4095MB NVIDIA GeForce GT 740 SC (EVGA) Seagate 1TB SSHD In the new mail app I can only see the titles of my emails, for any accounts I have added, closing/restarting the app has no change on this issue. While using the search bar that is in the taskbar and integrated with Cortana, it sometimes only comes up with just the top part visible. (a quick trip to task manager) and restart of explorer fixes this, secondly when a search is done for a system apps like mail, snipping tool, etc. I get results to either search the web or my files. OOBE hung awhile at the part where it says "Almost Ready" Other than that it is working fine and as I said running through things quicker than any of my other installs. +devHead Subscriber² Posted April 14, 2015 Subscriber² Share Posted April 14, 2015 I have the same issue with the mail app - just the header, but no message body shows. Also, left clicking Documents on the Start Menu does nothing, but right-clicking and selecting 'Open' will open the folder. Settings opens fine. BeerFan
Same issue with the Mail app - it's pretty much useless right now. Hopefully the next build takes care of that. I don't have the same issue with clicking the Documents folder in the Start Menu - it opens right up for me. The Weather app has lost the ability to show a radar map or any other useful map. The Money app has lost the ability to sync my personal stock investment accounts through Fidelity.com. Previous builds still had this feature. I like the way some apps, such as Money and Weather, are now scrolling vertically instead of horizontally. On my new laptop, If I ask Cortana, "What is the temperature outside?", it just sits there thinking indefinitely. Overall, I'm liking things so far. Looking forward to seeing more builds. Ian S.
Well... this is a leaked build. I currently have no issues with the Outlook app, but Cortana is very slow to load and jumpy when it opens. Jarrichvdv 1 Share
timster
use the feedback app to report the bugs. I make it a point to specify what build the bugs are in, just in case, although I'm sure that build info is passed along with the feecback
