YouTube has a new player UI

Check the attached screenshot. I've no idea if everyone sees it/gets it.

Actually I think it's much better than their previous UI.

 

Now I can finally understand if Autoplay and Annotations are indeed enabled (vs. previous idiotic squares which were impossible to understand.

They are going back to their roots, that's how YouTube player options looked many years ago, of course the options and features were different back them, but kind of the same style, I like it.

I have a custom userstyle for my HTML5 player that hides a lot of stuff unless the mouse hovers the player. I hope this change is for flashplayer only so I don't have to update my style. :p

No, this is an update to HTML5. The Flash video player is considered legacy and is only still up until most browsers support all media extensions.
