SlayerS_BoxeR Posted April 14, 2015 Share Posted April 14, 2015 so in a company you know how managers can trace your activities/browser you've been surfing around? where can you find those logs on your local machine? for now i can think of sys32>log files >scm and the other at windows > logs >cbs any suggestions? It doesn't get stored on your local computer, nor does it get stored in an area that you would have access to. If you are worried about it, do not use your work computer for personal stuff. I have had to pull logs recently for employees, I tried looking at the local level and the user cleared their cache so then I went to the company web logs stored on a server. At work then I would update my resume. If you have been asked by HR to snoop on someone then consider software or hardware based solutions. There is more than one way, could even be something loaded on your computer that is in a stealth mode that communicates to a server. I can't elaborate more because I don't know your network or what your it staff has in place. Even at home, your system may still communicate with the corporate network and track you..I know mine has the ability to and am in the process of deployment. This by very nature logs where you go, since you have to ask the proxy for www.neowin.net and it gets it for you.
