Does the Xbox App open up for anyone? ( Running in VMWare Player )

I haven't been able to launch the app in the last two builds.  Not sure if I should just start from sratch ( install from ISO )

Nope, just crashes back to desktop for me without any kind of error message.

Running this command got the XBox app working for me again:

Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}
