It "Works" but under virtualbox I get a lot of graphical artifacts.. so can't be sure exactly what happens half the time.

same

No problems here either (two bare-metal installs - both Pro and both upgrades over 10056 Pro, for that matter). Now I'm doing my sole bare-metal upgrade of 10049 Enterprise (downloading now, install will follow when the download completes, as per usual).

There are more customization options (in Settings->Personalization). The migration AWAY from Control Panel continueth.

It could be an issue with OVB itself (or the Guest Additions, if you are using them). Because of stuff like that, I'm liking non-Hyper-V virtualization less and less (this is regardless of guest OS, and it's not alone VB, either). Because my desktop (outside of Windows Server) can't leverage Hyper-V, but the development notebook can, I'm doing most of the Hyper-V testing on my notebook.

I don't know what 90% of what you just said means.  I've heard the terms.. but.. don't you have to use like VMWare or VBox to run guest machines??

No, Windows 8 has a Hyper-V manager where you can run virtual machines....so you do not need VMWare or VBox.  I've never used it personally (my only notebook that has 8.1 doesn't meet the requirements) so I can not comment on performance/features/etc.

I use VMWare on Windows 7 to run Windows 10.  VBox, on my computer, wasn't very good running it.

Ah okay.  Didn't know that.. I wonder if that would work better than VBox.  Like I have a new PC (bought a month ago) so I assume it has support.  It's an i7

Edit: Don't have pro.. guess I can't.
