Revenge Served Lukewarm: Cheating Boyfriend Gets All Dozen Of His Apple Products Thrown In Bathtub

apple-product-bath-1.jpg

This is the aftermath of a Japanese man cheating on his girlfriend. She decided to exact revenge by dumping all his dozen plus Apple products in the bathtub. For reference, that is entirely too many Apple products. Plus girlfriends. Hopefully the sex was worth it, bro. When reached for comment about the incident, the man could not be reached for comment about the incident because all his phones and computers were soaking in the tub.

Keep going for a shot of his iMac taking a bath.

I don't even see how this makes news these days.

This kind of ###### happens every single day in every ######ing country around the world.

Because it's Apple...... duh!!!!!!

I'm not sure, but haven't past events like this ended with the girlfriend having to pay for the damages? Not that I really mind one way or another, a dozen apple devices does seem a few too many and he shouldn't have been messing around to begin with.

Generally, he's an ###### yeah, but vandalism and property destruction is still illegal.

Two different photos of the same tub with different contents.

Whatever.

She can dunk the iMac then remove it to dunk the rest.

If they weren't powered on at the time and if they didn't stay in the water too long, they might be salvageable, but I highly doubt it.

I hope it made her feel better because she's probably going to have to pay for it all.

The anger over the fact this even made the news or are you an Apple fan?

Person above is right. If they weren't on and not in the water long, all you'd have to do is let everything dry out. Photos show she put the iMac in alone then took it out to throw the rest in and take the next picture. Unless she added the iMac to that group after she snapped the picture, all she really did was leave everything in long enough to take a picture.

A really truly angry woman would be 100% sure they were destroyed by at least using a hammer or a fall from a tall building. Women who are truly angry make sure that stuff is destroyed lol.

I really like this part of the article -

When reached for comment about the incident, the man could not be reached for comment about the incident

Got to reach that word count target somehow.

cheating is not a crime.    this however clearly is.    and posting pictures of it, there is a proof of criminal damage to her ex property (and a fairly expensive one too)

i bet she will be made to pay for it.   it is only fair.

Depends on where you are. In Japan adultery was decriminalize in 1947, but here in the US it's still a crime in 21 states. In Michigan, Massachusetts, Idaho, Wisconsin and Oklahoma it's a felony. In many states it's also grounds for a civil lawsuit.

Isn't it only adultery if they're married though? The article title says they were just boyfriend and girlfriend.

Which is worse...  a non-married guy cheating on his girlfriend, or will-full destruction of thousands of pounds worth of another person's property.... decisions decisions. I know which one is illegal at least.

adultery means married, not boyfriend and girlfriend.       that is the legal grounds.   cannot expect anything if they are just dating

Some places apply it to cohabiting unmarried partners; after some period of time, frequently 2-3 years, or the birth of a child, the relationship becomes a Common Law Marriage.

Not just some US states but also Canada and other countries which use English Common Law.
