I don't want to distract from the topic too much, but I'm getting a bit bored of this half a game and the rest is DLC shenanigans. 8 maps and no single player as a released game feels like less than a half arsed attempt. Do you want EA to screw up Battlefront badly just to validate your viewpoint of them? More than 8 maps have been confirmed to be available at launch. While there are no space battles all dog fighting is in atmosphere. There is no confirmation on if the game supports mods. The campaign in the old games was just instant action with a tiny bit of story and an objective which is now called missions which may double as instant action. AT-ST is confirmed playable and the AT-AT is only confirmed as being on rails for that one game mode. Also it has been confirmed there are more than two hero's. And for AI there is really nothing known yet besides the fact they will be in missions. They have also said they don't currently have plans for DLC besides Battle of Jaku which is free. Well ignoring the above - I hadn't planned to, which is a shame given how much I enjoyed both BF1 and 2.
