game_over Posted May 5, 2015 Share Posted May 5, 2015 I run a suite with 32 computers, all of them are exactly the same managed from a server (same PC, same image, same apps, etc..) I've been updating some software and as a result removed McAfee Enterprise AV and Java x86 (replaced with x64) Ever since this happened the mice on the computers have been randomly freezing, when switching it will load to the Windows 7 login screen but the mouse will be frozen, I can unplug the mouse and put it back in and it will instantly start working again, it may not happen again on this PC for a few days but eventually it will.. It is the same on all 33 it is totally random. I wouldn't even know where to start troubleshooting this, there is nothing in the event viewer. I'm aware McAfee can cause problems as their uninstaller is rubbish, but in this case it looks as if it has been removed correctly from the PCs and Google isn't really bringing up anything reliable.
