android Issue with Spotify

I'm going to assume that the issue might be related to my phone going crazy, but here is the issue: I used spotify for a better part of 3 weeks over a 4G-LTE connection and it worked just fine, now suddenly for the last week or so it just seems to freeze, not load, etc. I used a Wi-Fi connection to place it in offline mode, and downloaded my playlist to the SD card, and it worked. I decided to change things around and put it back into online mode, it worked for ~2 days. Now yesterday and today it will not load at all, the app loads, but it just freezes when attempting to load the playlist. Before it worked to use the application manager to force stop the app and clear cache, but now even that will not work. I do not feel that this issue is just the app, but I would appricate any input. I am hoping to take the phone into the company tomorrow and have them service/replace it, but baring that I would like to have some advice.

Settings, application manager (apps), find Spotify, force stop first, click clear cache, clear data, Re-start app, sign in and away you go.

Failing that, do the above, then uninstall the app. Reboot phone, re-install app, sign in and away you go.

I guess i should been more specific, I have done the clear data, clear cache stuff and it only works for about 1 session (i.e. listening to my playlist, then stopping) as far as uninstalling, it refuses to... since my phone is no longer rooted, I can not remove it any other method then the application manager. I am 100% convinced that the phone is the root of the whole issue, not just the app.

Have you tried disabling restrict background data?
