I have this old game called The Ghostbuster: video game. I tried to install it on my new PC in 2014, but it won't work well.  What do you suggest me?

I'm guessing this isn't a windows 7 rig, so first and foremost, have you tried installing/running it in compatibility mode?

Won't work well in what way... doesn't install, doesn't launch, error message, crashes, low framerate? What OS/CPU/GPU do you have? 

 

Is it this version of the game? http://store.steampowered.com/app/9870 if so I have it running on Windows 8.1 out of the box without problems.

guess what? I tested the game, and it put on Windows Vista SP2 compatibility mode on Windows 8.1, and it worked very well! I know why, because it required sound card on my computer.
