I release wish they'd release the DVB-T tuner in my market, it's in a bunch of other EU markets but not here yet, shame.

Is your signal different than those countries? I'd just import.

One thing I really want after using PlayTV. Surprised Sony haven't created a new one. +1 MS. Sony's Vue service is useless for the EU/UK. We need a tuner for Freeview.

I'd have to double check, but I'm guessing it is.  Also just importing it might give you just TV, no One Guide support.

DVB-T is DVB-T. the difference in the beginning was that the first countries to go digital went mpeg2 for the video, while the later ones went mpeg4 for better quality and more channels. I think most have switched to mpeg4 now(resulting in some annoyance for consumers who needed to buy yet another tv box, unless they already replaced their tv)

the main problem with this is that unless I want to only watch the NRK1,2 and 3 channels(Norwegian BBC) it's pretty useless since it doesn't have a CI+ slot. in reality though I'd need a DVB-C tuner with a CI+ slot for it to be really useful.

Yeah, it's DVB-T so it'll work, but I doubt I'll get One Guide and heck, will they even let me use it or will the TV app say no to my location?   Is there anyone out there that has used/is using, one of these outside of the supported EU markets right now?
