thechronic Posted May 20, 2015 Share Posted May 20, 2015 Myself and a friend enjoy playing LAN based games with a VPN client called Evolve Website Here The issue is since he has upgraded to Windows 10 10074 from Windows 8.1 he's found that the VPN client doesn't work. We are not the only ones with this issue, users as far back as 10049 have discovered that Windows 10 breaks Evolve and VPN clients from other providers such as OpenVPN. The error mentioned in this topic is related to his issue but actually gives a different error message to what he's having. For whatever reason the Evolve Virtual Network Adapter is identified by Windows but cannot start, indicated a driver issue perhaps? Does anyone here know of a VPN Client that will: Work with Windows 10 and 8.1 (for myself) Allow us to play LAN Based Games Cost nothing Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
+LogicalApex MVC Posted May 20, 2015 MVC Share Posted May 20, 2015 I don't think you'll find many options since OpenVPN is also affected. It could be a bug in Windows 10 or it can be a change that requires adjustment by VPN apps to comply with new changes in the OS.
