Car paint issue...maybe?

Just noticed on my car what appears to be a light grey arch on my blue car paint.  Looks like what would happen if there were hard water stains .  Its faint, half non perfect wobbly circle.  Paint above/below looks fine.  I used some normal cleaner and went over it once and it appears to make it look fainter.  I know what happens when the clear coat wears off since my spoiler is a mess and needs to be repainted.  So I am pretty sure it is not that.  Plus, that shape of this light grey line does not look like what happens when the clear  coat wears off or if there is oxidation.  There is no pealing and the area is smooth to the touch and no roughness.

 

Going to try and buff it out later and see if that removes the grey line.  Tried taking a pic but it is to faint to get a good one.

 

Just seeing if someone had any ideas or if there is something I am not thinking of.

Tcut or similar paint restorer and polish, if it's still there, it might need a respray

You didn't mention what part of the car but it could be caused by the supports that run underneath the body panel retaining heat.

it is really faint and smooth.  So I don't think it is that major.  Hopefully I can find something local and try tonight.

Back driver side fender above the wheel.  Looks like a hard water stain since is small line/jagged arch that goes maybe 6in or so.  I cleaned the area and it faded.  Looks like when my car gets sprayed at work by a lawn sprinkler.  Hopefully just a hard water stain.

I tried, pics never came out.  I only really notice it when light is shinning on it and then the glare ruins the pic.  If you ever had hard water stains on windows/car paint before...it looks just like that but in thin jagged line in one spot.  Not a solid line, but broken like a hard water stain is.

 

And it is smooth to the touch.  I had oxidized/clear coat issues before and those are rough and you can feel them.  I used regular glass cleaner earlier and it seem to have faded but still there.  So hopefully some polish/scratch remove will get rid of it.  Just wanted options and going to pick up some stuff in a few.

Try a different angle.   Such as top view, side view, etc. Until you got the better view in the picture for us to see.

 

Or take your car to your friend's garage if you don't have a garage... take a pic inside the garage so you wouldn't worry about the sun or any lighting.

I tried different angles...just cannot see as well it if the light is not shinning on it.  I only noticed it when I parked at work, got out of my car, and the sun was shinning on it.  If I block the sun, it does not show up in the pic either.  Weird, I know.   But if a polish/scratch remover does help, then I will take it to a shop I know who does paint work.

I just looked at it again and I cannot even see it anymore.  Must have been the way the sun was shinning directly on it. Weird.  I did notice a lot of hard water spots around the wheel well and other parts of the fender.  So who knows.  Odd to say the least.
