Stole the idea from here:

Simple enough: do you have any of your last gen consoles hooked up or have they found themselves sold off, boxed up or given away?

I always sell the old one before buying new. I don't play any online multiplayer. And I am finished with single player games by the time of an upgrade.

Same with games. When I finish the game, or stop playing for a while, I sell it.

Why keep something you never use because *potentially you might use it

I don't collect them.

Nah, daughter still plays her Wii off and on, and got a couple first-gen XBox's laying around that were modded for XBMC, got those hooked up to some "misc TV's" that don't merit getting tied into the DVR system due to being rarely used.  A few are ready to go though -- Got a Dreamcast but haven't fired that up in quite a few months now, probably time to get rid of that, if the mood hits I got an emulator for it anyway. Think there's a PS1 in the garage that needs to go too, again if the retro mood hits me got an emu for that. None are being replaced with current stuff though, haven't had serious interest in consoles for quite a while.

I have "retired" my Wii console by the time I got my Wii U console on release day (Nov 18th, 2012).

My brother told me he will probably retire his PS3 when he gets a PS4.

Could you put this option in:

- I have no next-gen consoles to replace the last-gen ones with : )

Last console I had was a SNES which replaced my Atari.  PC gaming all the way after the SNES.  No : ( about it.

My X360 sits right next to the X1, granted I haven't used the 360 in a long long time.

Well I guess if you owned consoles you would be interested in upgrading them, hence the :(

If you have no interest in consoles then this topic is largely irrelevant.

Still rocking my 2 360s and my XBMC nodded original Xbox. I plan to eventually get an Xbox One but as long as the 360 is supported on Live, I'm in no hurry.

I have 2 Xbox 360s and a Xbox One.

One of the 360s is being used for media which has many media apps. Of course it has TV app for this one.

Xbox One is being used for TV, Media (a few apps right now but they plan to add more similar to X360)...

I play games on both consoles depends on what I want to play. (Not the same time as you think).

I have the xbox 360 and I have practically replaced it with my PC, I haven't used it as much I as I used to. I just use it occassionally and I have kept it because of games with gold

My 360 still sees more use than Xbone since I have all of my existing 360 games which I'm not prepared to simply throw away.

Nope, when PS4's extra features catches up to the PS3 then I will. Kind of sad really.

Good PS3 games I have to finish also.

My Atari 2600, NES, SNES and Genesis are all hooked up and I play them often, so I guess I have to say no.

I actually just bought myself a new 360 (The blue 500GB model) a few months back to replace my old Elite, I've still got a bunch of 360 games I haven't finished, and the thing still works so why get rid of it?
