They would then pull your trousers down and try to touch or laugh at you. No smart phones, no internet. Did the boys, myself included give consent? Nope. Am I scarred for life? Nope. If a complaint was made it should be dealt with. But these are children. Its not the same as if an adult did this without consent. None of them are old enuff to even of started puberty, but were all ready trying to label them as deviants. Punishment is due, but really this is not headline news. The advent of smart phones / internet is sexualising children. If it is then all the old porno magazines / videos we found as children mean that vhs/glossy magazines, did the same in my day. netty2014 Posted May 27, 2015 Share Posted May 27, 2015 Mobile phones hadn't been invented when i was at school, i had to borrow my dad's mag's from under his bed, titles like (fiesta, May fair) when i was learn something about the girl's in the world, it dint repress me sexually and i turned out ok, we didn't even have a home phone. (im not that old and yes im sure barny rubble in the flint stones had a phone). Anyway im glad the lad had the sense to feel up a girl and not one on the boy's in the school. (would that still be classed as a sexual assault and would there be so much fuss about it ?,and would it have been reported ?) Anyway this controversial subject should be addressed at home and school. NO phones in school full stop. Teachers have phones pen and paper to contact parents if they need to! I hate mobile phones myself I think there noisy, annoying, antisocial devises,and noise pollution has increased 25 % im sure in the world already, people fiddle with them all day looking for the meaning of life in them, im sure ! Do you stop them from doing drugs? why? reality is some people do drugs so why stop them? Do you stop them from having sex with other young people? why? reality is most people have sex so why stop them? Do you stop them from drinking alcohol? why? reaility is people drink and get drunk so why stop them? Do you stop them from smoking? why? reality is some people smoke so why stop them? on and on and on.... There is a reason why kids should not be allowed (and restricted as much as possible) some things in life until a time they can responsibly learn things on their own. I've been in a relationship where my partner had a young child. Ofcourse you don't allow them to drink alcohol... when they're with you... which is like 4-5 hours a day? The other hours they're at school, constantly influenced by others. I've seen it myself. We are a pretty strict family, yet my brother has sex, drinks alcohol, smokes when he's not at home. Those good old days aren't that long ago, less than 5 years ago my kids did go to the library, and so on. As my job demands grew, I was unable to take them to the library, my wife had less free time also, so as a compromise, we bought computers, which incidentally are age restricted via parental controls. I'm not a technophobe, but handwriting skills, and in a lot of cases, social skills are suffering all because of electronics devices, Kids at Christmas are not playing outside with the neighbours friends with their new toys anymore, and people speak to one another as is they were typing responses via <insert whichever social network troll app here> Kids Phones are almost completely unrestricted as parents buy them, put pre paid credit on them, and never look at them, no telling what they have stored, porn is the least of their problems in my opinion, as far worse information is readily available Getting a regular phone doesn't help neither, they feel left behind as all their friends have smartphones, not buying them one at all has the same effect.
