T3X4S Posted May 28, 2015 Share Posted May 28, 2015 I am wondering if anyone else has had a bad experience with Google Wallet. I set up an account, requested a card. Never activated it. Decided to try the service again. Requested new card. New card arrived, I accidentally cut up the new card instead of the original. I called Google Wallet to request the new card be cancelled and send me a new one. I later rec'd an email telling me I had to provide some identification documents (my driver's license and a pic of the credit card I was using to back up the Google Wallet) The credit card was in my fiance's name, Im on the account, and its the same address) I provided pictures of both. I then rec'd an email telling me they will not be activating my account, and I cannot use their service. I replied to the email asking why, and stating that I provided the documents they requested. I rec'd an email stating they cant deny or cancel any account for no reason per their ToS. Great customer service, huh ? So F Google Wallet !
