You can now get a free Lumia 635 with a Fitbit Charge wristband at the Microsoft Store

While Microsoft's new Lumia 640 is now available in various markets, its predecessor, the Nokia Lumia 635, remains on sale all over the world. From time to time, we've seen some pretty sweet deals on the 635 - in the US, for example, it was possible to buy the device for just $29.99 back in March, a remarkable fall in price from the $189 price tag that it launched with less than a year earlier.

Now, the Lumia 635 is part of another attractive deal via the Microsoft Store in the US. When you buy a Fitbit Charge activity- and sleep-tracking wristband for $129, you'll get a free AT&T Lumia 635, which Microsoft usually sells for $49.

The Lumia 635's key specs include:

  • 4.5-inch FWVGA (854x480px) IPS LCD with Corning Gorilla Glass 3
  • Quad-core 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400
  • 512MB RAM
  • 8GB onboard storage (plus microSD support up to 128GB)
  • 5MP rear camera with autofocus and 720p video recording
  • Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n
  • 4G LTE connectivity
  • Accelerometer, SensorCore
  • Removable 1830mAh battery

The Fitbit Charge features a a small OLED screen and offers battery life of around 7-10 days, and connects to smartphones via Bluetooth 4.0 LE. It's available on the Microsoft Store in slate grey and black, and in small and large sizes.

The offer will remain available until July 5 - but bear in mind that while the Lumia 635 comes with no contract obligation, it is locked to AT&T.
