If I reinstall from scratch Windows 8.1 or Windows 10, BitLocker will be activated automatically and by default? I see that on OSX there is file vault that is "suggested" to be activated. But on Windows 8.1 and 10 BitLocker is activated automatically by default for the boot hard drive? I ask this because i need to reinstall a Windows 8.1 desktop and I want to configure from zero.
