fusi0n
I thought I would give this a shot before I have to call someone.. We use a NEC DSX-80, which is a very old phone system. When a call comes in our main line, dispatch will transfer that call. However, it is dropping the transfers just about every time. I have no idea where to start. I have rebooted it, and the issue is still there..
xendrome
Are you transfering the calls to internal DNs or to outside numbers? fusi0n 1 Share

xendrome
Internal extensions. Well that's interesting then, so it's an external call, answered by dispatch and then transfered to another internal DN. Does the phone being transfered to ring at all or once you try to join the call it drops? Also, are the internal extentions on in the same building, on the same port modules etc? Assuming this is a copper PBX. have you tried to reset any station modules power where those phones plug into?

It may ring once, it may drop right before voice mail, or during voice mail. It seems if they answer the phone, it does not drop.

xendrome
Hopefully you will find something or have found something that fixes it. I would start checking all the lines for surge strips/protection and remove/test/replace.
