Question
JayZJay
Hi, everyone.
In late January 2015, Paul Thurrott posted an article about how one could convert/upgrade Office 365 Personal to Office 365 Home for $9.99 USD, at least in the United States. Here is the article: https://www.thurrott.com/cloud/office-365/847/tip-convert-office-365-personal-office-365-home-just-9-99
Then, about two months later, Paul posted an article asking others if they knew if the "loophole" was still working. Here is that article: https://www.thurrott.com/cloud/office-365/2359/ask-paul-has-the-office-365-personal-to-office-365-home-loophole-closed
The response was, yes, the upgrade was still working.
Has anyone did the $9.99 upgrade recently, like in the last week or two? Does anyone have a Office 365 Personal subscription that they can try it with?
Thank you in advance for any feedback!

P.S. I am aware of the other tip Paul just posted a couple of days ago (see https://www.thurrott.com/cloud/office-365/4402/tip-extend-your-office-365-home-subscription-with-a-new-office-365-personal-subscription) where you can convert an Office 365 Personal subscription to 9 months of additional Office 365 Home service. That might even be the better/safer way to go, but I'm still interested in the $9.99 upgrade process.
