Office 2016 crash

Question

I recently downloaded office 2016,

It installed perfectly fine, but when you first launch an office application, you have a pop-up window to accept the terms and conditions.

Every time I click "accept", the application crashes.

I have this problem with every office application (word, excel, powerpoint,...)

I've found this in the event log:

Faulting application name: WINWORD.EXE, version: 16.0.4201.1006, time stamp: 0x5585557d
Faulting module name: mso30win32client.dll, version: 0.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x55855204
Exception code: 0xc0000005
Fault offset: 0x001573f3
Faulting process id: 0x1b08
Faulting application start time: 0x01d0b4e5dd85faee
Faulting application path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\root\Office16\WINWORD.EXE
Faulting module path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Office16\mso30win32client.dll
Report Id: 2292d911-20d9-11e5-b43e-dca9711a612e
Faulting package full name:
Faulting package-relative application ID:

Has anyone else experienced this? I can't seem to solve this...

I've tried reinstalling, and i've had this problem on several windows 10 builds now..

Not since an earlier build of Windows 10 (in fact, pre-10130) - and even there I had it a grand total of once.  Both Windows 10 and Office 2016 have seen later builds since (therefore, no idea whether Office or Windows 10 was the offender).

Overall, Office 2016 is more stable than Office 2013 was (even with Windows 10); over the weekend, I'm upgrading to 2016 on Mom's AIO.

New features aren't driving the upgrade - it's performance and stability, especially in Word.

I was able to fix it by running an office uninstaller tool, and then manually deleting all appdata/program files folders, and office Registry keys.
