You need to include information for people to try help you, such as the laptop make / model number.

If you run windows 8 or above:

http://support.lenovo.com/us/en/documents/ht081446

If you run windows 7 and below:

Keep hitting ESC* on startup.

*If ESC doesn't work then you can try F1, F2, F3 etc and DEL.

If your device originally ran windows 7 or below and was upgraded to windows 8 and above follow the windows 7 steps.

Assuming it's not factory locked by dell, (if such a thing exists)

We also need to know what operating system version you are running,

Age of laptop, with correct name and model number so the really advanced technical knowleged members can assist,

Any information that is given or available at power on screen (more commonly known as the post screen)

I cannot put it anymore simpler, we can help, but as we are not with you and your laptop, we cannot say for certain, we need this information.

Asking for help when we don't know what we're dealing with only serves to confuse members (and possibly annoy) as troubleshooting advice has been offered given the limited information supplied

  1. Power on
  2. Hold F2
  3. Switch to "Advanced" tab
  4. Virtualisation [Enabled]
  5. Press F10
  6. Select Yes
  7. Reboot

If you're not seeing the option, you will need to update to the latest firmware release. It's [Enabled] by default I think.
