Southern Patriot
I have several machines that were all working fine with 10130, but when I upgraded them to 10162 they refuse to activate. I've even started with a clean install of Windows 8 on one of them (upgrading it to 8.1, then to build 10162) and a clean install of 7 on another (then upgrading it to 10162), and still have the same problem. Both of the clean install machines were activated with their previous OS prior to the upgrade, but will not activate on the new build. In an unrelated matter, which was also annoying, after upgrading each of the machines on my network, they all seem to have lost the previous Homegroup, so I'm going to have to recreate it (this also only happened with the 10162 build, they were working fine previously). Nick H. Supervisor Posted July 4, 2015 Supervisor Share Posted July 4, 2015 From the sounds of things there is an issue with the activation server at the moment. Link. As someone here mentions, I don't think there is a problem with it not being activated at this time, is there? (As an aside, good to see you again!)
