Happy with the list, but Need for Speed over Forza?  :s

I'm also surprised to see Oculus Rift outdoing HoloLense. But the rest of the list seems like games that could be argued either way so things were likely pretty close. I am a little surprised we didn't see ReCore there at all though.

Oculus will come across as a more consumer finished/ready product. HoloLens still seems like it's a ways off.

Note the Rift (headset) didn't win.  The Touch (controller) did.

They actually played the games so they've definitely got an advantage over me but based off what I've read about the games and the E3 coverage I've watched I'd agree with:

Best of Show

Best Original Game

Best PC Game

Best Hardware

Best Action/Adventure Game

Best RPG

Best Racing Game

Best Indie

I don't get why Uncharted suddenly beat Fallout 4 for Best Console Game despite Fallout 4 being the Best of Show and Best PC. (is the console version bad?)

I would have gone for Fallout Shelter for Best Handheld Game and Rock Band 4 for Best Family/Social Game.

I'm surprised FIFA 16 won Best Sports Game unless a large portion of the "media outlets" that judged were non-U.S.  I don't think FIFA is that popular in the U.S. and I think of E3 as a U.S. Convention (Europe and Japan have their own major gaming conventions).  I would have expected Madden to win and my personal preference would have been NHL 16 (despite how horrible 15 was-which they seem to have corrected in 16) but I acknowledge that I'm in a minority there being a NHL Season Ticket holder and all.

Best Action and Best Online Multiplayer I can't really speak on personally because I don't play these types of games so have no real opinion. (I don't plan on buying ANY of them).  However I've seen A LOT of posts/videos/articles about how disappointing Star War Battlefront is compared to it's predecessors, how limited the game modes are, how horrible the flight controls are, etc. (The graphics are really nice though) so I'm surprised it won these.  I would have guessed Halo 5 for these myself but that's just based off of my perception of franchise popularity and my perception of current hype because again I don't like these genres myself and don't play any of them.

if uncharted was available on PC, it would have won Best of PC too. And Best of Show :p

since it is limited only to one console.... the best it can win is Best Console game.

I don't think that's how it works.  If it were they wouldn't have nominated it for best of show at all, only multi-plats would be there.  Uncharted was a Best of Show nominee and lost to Fallout 4 then suddenly beat it in Best Console.  Either one had a better showing than the other or it didn't.  I just think the judges didn't want to give the sweep to Fallout so they threw Uncharted a console bone.  Heck they even invented a whole new category that wasn't on the Nominee page to give it an extra reward ("Special Commendation for Graphics").
