It looks like the much-ballyhooed remake of Final Fantasy VII that was shown off during Sony's E3 press conference will be coming to Xbox One after all, if the Australian arm of EB Games is to be believed.

They've listed Final Fantasy VII Remake as being available for preorder on Xbox One for the placeholder price of $109.95 AUD (

I wouldn't be surprised, considering their financials and the confirmation of TR being multi-platform.

Indeed, but it is great news (assuming it comes true) for Xbox gamers that might want to play the game. I had the impression after the huge E3 debut that Xbox probably wasn't going to get it. Great news for gamers all around.

I mean, Tomb Raider? Who cares, not a big deal... People have been asking for a FFVII remake for a long while though now.

2016 release date... LOL. Yeah right.

 

2018 earliest. They've only just started making it and FF15 isn't even out yet.

The question that should be asked is "When?"

 

People are going nuts over this announcement and SE can't even get FF15 into the wild.

 

My middle child just started the 6th grade on 7/6/15.  She will more than likely be heading into the 8th grade when FF15 drops.

 

And a high schooler, when the FF VII remake drops... /s kinda, kinda not
