+longgonebn Subscriber² Posted July 29, 2015 Subscriber² Share Posted July 29, 2015 Hi, I have no way to comment or create a topic on the forums since the update. I am running the latest Chrome stable version. The box for the comments, or for a new topic is just not shown at all. I also had to choose a option for a poll to show the results, I clicked the option to skip but it would just reload the page and show the poll options. I also have the notification menu not working. It says I have 1 new, click it and it just shows the loading icon forever. I am replying within Edge now.
Boo Berry
Works fine here in Chrome 44 stable. Try clearing your cache and cookies for Neowin.

TDT
Chrome user here, I don't have the issues you mentioned, but I do have others that I think are known, like getting an error if I try to login via main page or when I try to access my content. Have fun fixing it on your own, if you're going to be a smart ass or a dick, have fun on your own.
+longgonebn Subscriber² Posted July 30, 2015 Author Subscriber² Share Posted July 30, 2015 If you took my reply as being a dick that is fine. lol HTTPS Everywhere was the cause, waiting a bit longer and refreshed and it seems to be working. Stupid none the less, should not cause this issue.
Boo Berry
I wouldn't call HTTPS Everywhere useless... however I'd say that from my own experiences that it just seems to be a troublemaker on some sites, hence why I avoid it. Bottom line, it's more trouble than it's worth using.
.stan
The only thing that's broken in Chrome for me is the editor, but that could very well be just me being on the dev channel and having enabled a few flags. The bug I'm experiencing is that as soon as I hover over editor buttons the text on them turns white and the button can no longer be clicked. I guess it's the dev channel, don't have the issue on the beta channel.

Steven P. Administrators Posted August 1, 2015 Administrators Share Posted August 1, 2015 This should be fixed, it had to do with mixed content delivery of certain scripts trying to load over http, or https. Since I don't use https everywhere but am on the latest Chrome beta (Version 45.0.2454.15 beta-m (64-bit)) I didn't get these problems. joker999 1 Share
