Trouble installing Windows 10 in UEFI mode on Lenovo Yoga

Recommended Posts

So I updated my Lenovo Yoga from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10 Last week.

After the upgrade I noticed some programs like Excel would take up to 30sec to load so I wanted to do I clean install. That's where I started running into trouble. I can't seem to make my laptop detect my USB stick when in UEFI mode. If I change settings to legacy it picks up the USB stick no problem.

I first made the bootable usb with the Windows 7 USB tool, but then I remembered other people having trouble with that so I remade my usb stuck using Rufus, but I still have the same problems.

Anybody has any idea how to solve this problem? Any help would my appreciated

Also keep in mind to select above settings in rufus AFTER selecting the iso, those settings are reset after selecting a iso file...

I noticed that, cheers for the tip though.

The USB stick is being created as we speak, hope this works
