searching for a tablet (at home for media use and hopefully drawing)

Recommended Posts

i am searching for a tablet that i would use mainly at home read manga, books, use youtube, watch movies and tv series and i would also love if i could also draw in it
here are the things that is most +necessary or -not needed for me
+wi-fi
+it has to have a decent-good resolution
+it has to be one of the bigger ones(since i have bad eyes and its sometimes hard to read small letters)
+budget is 300€ (may stretch but just a little) i will not buy used stuff
+cant break in a year or 2 without reason ( i care for my things and i rarely drop them so my things dont have to be from iron but when they brake simply from using it sucks)
-no need to be good for gaming

-im fine with 16-32gb of memory (may even go with 8gb if necessary)
-no need to last long without recharge(since ill mainly use it at home and if i will use it outside ill use my powerbank thingie to recharge )
?i would love if i could draw/paint (i mean that it would have that feature where the stronger u press while drawing the thicker the lines are)
?would be better if i could insert memory card (or whatever its called) in case my needs changes
? i may drop a little of liquid on it so id love if it would not break from a little touch of coffee or something like that (not planning to drop it in a pool tho)

The Dell Venue 11 is a good start: http://amzn.com/B00VS98TGE

It's a solidly built tablet that can do everything you've listed, except for the drawing part (kinda). It does have an optional pen accessory here, but it doesn't work very well the last time I checked. However, they might have updated the driver to make it work better, but I wouldn't count on it.

If you do get this tablet or any windows tablet, here's some apps that are going to be useful for your needs.

Manga Comics, a great manga reader
Hyper for YouTube, the best YouTube client for Windows
Fresh Paint, a drawing app

If you're interested in Android, I would recommend the NVidia Shield tablet as it's powerful and has a nice pen; but the screen is probably too small for your needs. I have the Galaxy Note 10.1 (2012) and it's a really solid tablet, despite it being fairly old: http://amzn.com/B008M4K5MY

The Dell Venue 11 is a good start: http://amzn.com/B00VS98TGE

i would prefer windows but to pay almost 500€ for one that is not also used for the drawing seems too much especially when i dont use it for games

after hours of research i found this for 229€  close to me http://www.amazon.fr/Lenovo-2-1050-Tablette-tactile10-1-Android/dp/B00NHKFGMM/ref=sr_1_2?&ie=UTF8&qid=1440368030&sr=8-2&keywords=Lenovo+Yoga+2+Tablet+10.1 (english version but slightly different one http://www.amazon.co.uk/Lenovo-YOGA-10-1-Inch-Tablet-Silver/dp/B00REG4J6E/ref=sr_1_1?&ie=UTF8&qid=1440368032&sr=8-1&keywords=Lenovo+Yoga+2+Tablet+10.1 )
it is android and probably is bad for drawing also but does seem to have fine specs , more than enough of battery life, wi-fi, screen size, resolution , enough space , can insert more memory
im not sure how easy it is to break
that thing on bottom seem kinda annoying since half the time i will use it sideways and it will probably have more weigh to that side
but when i think about it being half the price of what u offer i think ill choose this one and if it will be very useful maybe ill buy one for like 1000 after like 3 years
