It's feature set and colour reproduction have been specifically aimed at design professionals (as you can see on AOC's website) and while it's adequate for gaming, I gave Project Cars a play in 1440p and it looked astounding, its response time and feature set are not conducive to a gaming setup and there will be better options available if that is your primary use.
