Poll: Do you use Windows 10 apps?

  1. 1. So, now that Windows 10 is out for some time I was wondering if people use apps or not :)

    • Yes I use them all on daily basis (mail, calendar, people, groove, xbox, photos)

    • Yes but only to look at the live tile to see if I have mail or an appointment. Then I check the site

    • No and I don't want to cause why do I need an app when you can do it all from a pinned browser tab

No, but I want to the apps are just not good enough .... Doesn't suite me either.

So I can't really answer in the poll. All I want is just a choice for No.

A few, sure.  Waiting for some more good ones to start showing up. Hoping to see a new PushBullet client in the reasonably near future, doing a few for my own personal usage, surprisingly easy to develop for. I've no bias between old and new as long as they do the job.

LOL. I wanted reasons. With yes and no it doesn't say much.

So you say NO. What are your reasons not using W10 apps?

The desktop apps I have work just fine. The Windows 10 apps give me no reason to use them and in some cases they are more stripped down than their desktop counterpart.

I use a few, but never often: Weather app, Calculator, Edge.

And more rarely: Facebook, Mail, Flipboard, News, Star Chart, Maps.

It's way more apps than I used to use in 8.1. Which was 0, since I didn't like being forced to use them fullscreen.

On my tablet all the time, on my desktop not so often (aside from the Mail, Calendar, Camera and Calculator apps that I use all the time as well)
