Looking for alternatives to VSO and codeplex for code sharing

Question

I'm looking for a website for sharing my codes with others in an organized fashion that doesn't require an account for just viewing.

Visual studio online requires an account, which should also be authorized by me, and codeplex forces you to publish your code in a month or it'll be deleted, which I don't want to do.

Does anyone know a good alternative?

Maybe more along your lines of thinking? Any particular reason not to publish?

Thanks, although I think Github's repository route would better suite me. I want all my codes to be listed in one place.

As for not publishing; I have just started learning C#, so I don't really want to publish my dumb kiddy codes. :D

EDIT: I'm stuck. How do I add my code to a github repository? I don't see a place to write or copy-paste them.

EDIT2: Sorry, disregard what I wrote before. Github gist does list all the codes. Thanks, again.
