Mockingbird
My cousins are coming over (later). I have to pick them up from the airport and drive them around. I've also heard that they are thrilled to visit "Northern Mexico" (California) and will be bring along their Spanish phase books just in case they get lost and need to ask for directions. I can already tell how elated they are to be meeting people of Hispanic ethnicity! Anyhow, getting back to the question: How do one rent a car if one is under 21 ? Astra.Xtreme
Shouldn't be an issue. The rate will just be higher.

c.grz
They won't even rent to people under 21. Get someone over 25 to rent the car as a primary driver and you get added as an additional driver.
Mockingbird
Get someone over 25 to rent the car as a primary driver and you get added as an additional driver. Can I just have one of my parents book it for me then I just go pick it up?
pqt
In my experience you're not allowed to rent, nor drive their cars under the age of 21.
shockz
I had to go through loops and hoops with Enterprise to rent a car when I was 21. You'll pay out the ass and you'll be required to get the expensive insurance with every option. I paid 900 bucks for a Toyota Corolla 5 day rental. That was 9 years ago, can't imagine how much it costs now.
Astra.Xtreme
They won't even rent to people under 21. There are a few ways. I did it one or two times when I was under 21. http://firstquarterfinance.com/rent-a-car-under-21/
c.grz
Can I just have one of my parents book it for me then I just go pick it up? Nope, they have to sign for it; then they can hand over the keys.
