More than 1,600 personal effects were retrieved during this time. About two million tons of material^{[citation needed]} obtained from Ground Zero was taken to the landfill for sorting.^[6]

Thousands of detectives and forensic evidence specialists worked for over 1.7 million minutes at Fresh Kills Landfill to try to recover remnants of the people killed in the attacks. A final count of 4,257 human remains were recovered, but only 300 people were identified from these remains. A memorial is being built to honor those who were not able to be identified from the debris.^[7] The remaining debris was buried in a 40-acre (160,000 m²) portion of the landfill; it is highly likely that this debris still contains fragmentary human remains.^[8]

and finally, just for fun: the magic passport. This hijacker's passport went through the plane's fuselage, into the burning building and survived the towers' crashing hundreds of feet to the ground only to be found on the street afterward. wow! what convenient proof!

Just wanted to hit a few of these (because I really do not want to spend all day since these have all pretty much been debunked or are otherwise accounted for).

 

What do you think 52 FBI Evidence Recovery Teams were doing at Staten Island for nine months?  When an aircraft crashes...do they just leave the wreckage at the site or haul it off to a hanger for study.  

 

The Patriot Act was signed into law 45 days after 9/11 and is most certainly not "1000" pages long (342).  

 

Anyway, no amount of evidence will dissuade you conspiracy theorist.

The conspiracy video I watched aimed to convince the viewer that "pull it" was a technical term used to demolish buildings and then to get you to believe Larry Silverstein ordered the destruction of the building when he used it.

People who engage in believing conspiracy theories go about it all wrong and as a result, make complete fools out of themselves.

 

They act as if it's COMPLETELY IMPOSSIBLE to bring a building down with a big plane.

 

I have an advice for you. This is the line you should use: "Yeah, sure the buildings got destroyed by the planes BUT who do you think orchestrated the whole thing. It was the Israeli government and certain elements of the US government."

 

At least this one is MUCH harder to disprove.

Sorry, I just re-read your initial post and realized what you were saying.  I agree though, the main attacks were enough for overwhelming public support.

A lot of people overlook that the buildings' (WTC1/2) exterior walls were "hermetically" sealed. This means fresh air is only able to enter from ground/below ground level via the entrance doors and subways below, and out the top, primarily through the elevator shafts. This fact alone when combined with a significant fire somewhere in the middle of the building would, in effect, creates what's known as a blast furnace. This can increase the temperature of combustion significantly. Which, as a matter of fact, is more than hot enough to melt steel.

 

As well, the vertical collapse of the building would create substantial overpressure in the floors below, enough to blow windows out in precession.

there is footage out there that was shot from people viewing the twin towers from boats, unedited video has hardly any talking and just the shocked reactions when the second plane is supposed to have hit. the footage that you can find online has people yell out 'OMG a plane just hit'.

 

there is also the actual footage that was shot live where the plane somehow goes strait through the tower and the video cuts out to a black screen.

 

and the fact that there was a live news broadcast where the presenter stated WTC building 7 had come down, when it was still visible in the video.

 

the molten pools of fire that were still burning during the cleanup and the micro aluminum that was found.
