So i got bored today and installed Deepin 15 on a relatively old laptop; compared to other distros I tried in the past like Linux Mint or Ubuntu, Deepin is pretty fast and recognized all my drivers without any problem. the installation took around 10 minutes. I'm not a daily Linux user but If you have any particularly requests/questions about Deepin 15 I will try to answer them.

Looks wise Deepin looks amazing out the box, certainly like it belongs in 2016 anyway! Kind of a mix between the best of Windows 10 and OSX UI wise.

Yea.  I'm quite impressed by that.  Makes me tempted to try that on my old Mac Mini and see how well it runs.

Great looking OS, imho. is the UI consistent throughout the entire system, and since it is running custom shell, how is the compatibility with large repositories like Ubuntu's?

..and bonus 2 new screenshots - i discovered that the launcher has also a lovely, 'classic' mode very similar to the Chrome OS.
