I would really recommend 2 separate polls for backup applications

One which focuses on applications which images a computer, and one which focuses on applications which are more intended for file / folder backup.

Crashplan Central.

I used to use Acronis but their support and software is atrocious.  Crashplan does similar, with better support, better software, and better range of computers at I think a similar price point.  Free for local backups I think.

So this single software manages local and internet backups for me and my family's machines.  I like it.

Syncovery works well for syncing to a large number of cloud storage providers.

Symantec System Recovery 2013 R2 and Shadow Protect are both solid performers for me. I've heard good reports about Bvckup 2 for a home PC.

I don't know which one is better. I voted AOMEI Backupper because that's the one i use and it never failed me once. Also the free version comes with pretty much all features and doesn't try to install **** on your computer.
