Terry Garrett has spent the past five years playing through Nintendo 64 classic Ocarina of Time and uploading his progress on YouTube, which sounds like a long time until you realize that Terry is blind. Through the use of careful speaker positioning, Garrett is able to navigate the game primarily by sound effects, often using the Hookshot for echolocation. The quest that Garret first started five years ago has finally come to a close, as his most recent video shows him defeating Ganon and finally conquering Ocarina of Time. Saying he is enthusiastic about video games would be an understatement. Perhaps he has a future in creating games for the blind? I could see collaborations like this happening now that I think about it.

Thank goodness for savestates, one of the best things about console emulation. I've been spoiled by them that I almost can't play a single player game without a realtime save/load feature anymore.
