ORLANDO, Florida — Authorities in Florida say an 18-year-old lost his balance on a hoverboard and accidentally shot his 13-year-old cousin in the back of the head.

The shooting happened Sunday, February 7th in Orlando. Officials say Lavardo Fisher died Monday night, February 9th.

The Orlando Sentinel (http://bit.ly/1Tc9vtc) reports Fisher was playing Xbox when he was shot.

An Orange County Sheriff’s Office incident report says Fisher wasn’t breathing when first responders arrived. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

Deputies say the cousin told deputies he didn’t mean to shoot the gun. He hasn’t been charged.

The gun was owned by 35-year-old Walter Morame. He wasn’t at the home when the shooting occurred but was arrested later Sunday on charges of possession of a weapon by a felon. Records don’t say whether he’s hired a lawyer.

My first thought is... oh great more grief for the hoverboard makers....

Then I read it and  was like... What the hell does this have to do with the hover board??? So either this is a bad title or an attempt to bash the hover board again...

So.. some dipsh*t was playing on a hoverboard while waving a gun around?

I freely admit I am not expert of firearms but as far as I know if you have a gun holstered or otherwise secured and you fall over it doesn't magically go off.

This imbecile gives hoverboards users and firearm users a bad name.
