Nintendo NX launches March 2017 - Zelda releasing on Wii U and NX (delayed to 2017)

Recommended Posts

They should announce it at E3 Sony Feb event style (basic details, don't need to show physical console*), then they can hold their own blow out event later in the year. Not going to E3 and/or not acknowledging the NX is just Nintendo being daft. Japanese company being stubborn about how the global market has shifted in time.

*Yeah Sony caught in the moment flak and doom for that, but that really hurt in reality didn't it?

I find it interesting they said that the NX is not replacing the Wii U

Also, Animal Crossing and Fire Emblem apps coming to Mobile.

10+ million MiiTomo users.

They also won't have any other playable games other than Zelda at E3

Biggest dun goofed. Why? Because Zelda is now associated with NX due to the Wii U version coming at the same time. If the Wii U version came this year, then people would stay interested in Wii U announcements. Now that the release is parity everyone will want to know how it looks on NX, and how it will be controlled.

As for MiiTomo and mobile apps, please, who gives a ****?  Many are still salty about that crappy AC follow up instead of a proper game on 3DS/Wii U.

A lot of the major publishers are abandoning E3 altogether, so it'd be interesting if they didn't show at all.  Though, I wouldn't expect it.
