mattmatik Posted January 7, 2004 Share Posted January 7, 2004 What is the difference between the Redskins today now that Gibbs has signed on, and the Redskins from a week ago when Spurrier signed off? They still have a terrible roster, no quarterback, no running back, Champ Bailey is a free agent, blah blah...but most importantly, DAN SNYDER IS STILL THE OWNER! I like Joe Gibbs but I don't think this will be the "return to glory" some are predicting. Of course, please prove me wrong - I'd rather see the Redskins in the playoffs than the Cowboys any day. Look at Dick Vermiel, takes a few years off, comes back with an OK team and makes them look great. I think Gibbs has the potential to make some improvements with this team.
