'Real-life Rapunzel' has been growing hair for 13 years

Meet the 'real-life Rapunzel', whose hair has grown down to her heels after she refused to get it cut for more than 13 years.

And the woman, from Russia, won't be going for the chop until her hair has grown all the way down to her feet.

Dashik Gubanova Freckle now has more than 104,000 followers on Instagram, all eager for updates on her hair.

Dashik has now been growing her hair for 13 years, after starting in 2003 with the intention of cutting it in 2017 - when it has reached her toes.
Fans have suggested that Dashik should donate her hair for wigs, but she's already got that plan in place.

On Instagram she wrote: "This post is for those who say that I should donate their hair for wigs. In 14 years, I cut a scythe. And donate hair for wigs

"Today, I grow hair. My goal is to grow them to toe.

My wife's never cut her hair, but her hair doesn't grow past the middle of her back, so this woman is quite the story.

I know at least 5 women with hair that long, one almost to her knees. She had it as long as this gal in 1975.
