dicchicora
Ok...I'm using WinXP and version 2.75 of WinAmp because each version higher than 2.75 would always quit on me as I tried to drag/drop mp3s into the playlist. It did this also in Win2k. I don't mind using 2.75, it works great for me. Just wondering if anyone else had this problem, and if any of the newer versions, like 3.0 work well with WinXP. Thanks! Jayzun
Why don't you d/l 3.0 and find out? All versions have worked for me under XP and 2k.

dicchicora
Well, I downloaded the beta of WinAmp 3.0 and I've had it quit on my once. Other than that it's working great and looks cool also. Can't wait for the final release of this version!

Actually, I thought WA3 is mainly feature complete. I think they are just working on some bug fixes.
Matrox
My experience with Winamp3 has been pretty bad. I have had it lock up my system a few times. Hopefully the final release will be better and bug free. -Matrox
Deepu Sudhakar
WA3 has become my primary mp3 player in Windows XP. It really shouldn't be a beta when it is being operated in Windows XP. The case is the opposite in Windows ME. I can play mp3s, but there is always a crash whenever I do something else in it (such as using the Media Library). I believe the only reason it is working like that is because WA3 is mostly being developed on the W2K platform. Fortunately, beta 3 is coming out soon. A lot of bugs have been fixed, and it should operate better overall.
