Why does Edge always open the entire screen even when I resize the window?

If I resize any of my other web browsers and then close them and open them, they opens to the size window I made them. But with Edge no matter what size window I make it when I close it and open it it opens the entire screen, and then I have to resize it.

 

Is there any way to get Edge to behave like all of the other browsers with this?

They haven't fixed it with the Anniversary Update

It does not do that for me. If I resize it it opens to the resized screen

I don't remember if 10 has a hidden desktop file

 

(win 7 fix, when I had this problem with ie...

I set the size of ie to how I wanted it

I deleted the hidden desktop file

I hit refresh a few times on ie, and minimised/restored it a bunch

Removed the icon in my task bar, rebooted and it did the trick)

Then just re positioned the icon back to where it used to be
