Princeton University Kindly Requests You Stop Using "Gender-Binary" Hate Speech Like "Freshman"

Recommended Posts

For those of you, like us, who are constantly putting your foot in your mouth with highly offensive terms like "businessman" instead of "businessperson" or "freshman" instead of "first-year student," Princeton University has published the perfect pamphlet to help you develop a more "gender-inclusive" vocabulary.  As Princeton points out, "gender-inclusive" language is much preferred to the traditional "gender-binary" language used by people in ancient times who largely identified as men OR women.  Can you imagine?  How could they live in such an unsafe space?

For those of you who are still unsure if your language is "gender-inclusive" compliant, Princeton offers the following definitions:

Quote

Gender-inclusive language is writing and speaking about people in a manner that does not use gender-based words.

Gender binary is the traditional view on human gender, which does not take into consideration individuals who identify as otherwise, including and not limited to transgender, genderqueer, gender non-conforming, and/or intersex.

Princeton also provides a number of helpful tools in the pamphlet, like the one below, which offers helpful "gender-inclusive" alternatives to traditional hate-speech terminology like "fireman," "freshman," "anchorman," and "headmistress."

To the extent you're still having trouble with the practical application of the new terminology provided above, Princeton also took the liberty of providing examples of how to communicate with people without coming off as a "gender-binary" a-hole.

Quote

Replace gendered pronouns, e.g., he, him, his, and she, her, hers, by rewriting the text in the plural.

  • Example: Each participant must present his ID badge at the door.
  • Revised: All participants must present their ID badges at the door.

Eliminate the pronoun altogether.

  • Example: Each employee is expected to turn in his annual disclosure form by the deadline.
  • Revised: Employees are expected to turn in the annual disclosure forms by the deadline.
  • Example: The incumbent is expected to edit a variety of documents. She must also prepare weekly updates.
  • Revised: The incumbent is expected to edit a variety of documents and must also prepare a weekly update.

You can find the full guidelines from Princeton below. We truly hope you've found these to be helpful language tools that you can utilize in your everyday life.

Furthermore, here is confirmation of Soros' funding and support for Social Justice organizations, taken from a memo revealing the "Democracy and Power Fund", which explains its desire for building "state-based power"

It is almost surprising how cheap control over SWJ causes is.

I refuse, thanks. If someone is offended by words then they don't belong at Princeton university. At least, that's how it would work in a rational world.

Is this really all these pc progressives have to worry about?

This crap is everywhere now. It's gotten to the point where you can't even say semi-troll things in video games like Overwatch because peoples feels are all that matter anymore.

I thought a University of all places would know that the suffix -man doesn't have to indicate male. Also, what if you are purposely differentiating male and female via the suffix?

If you can't stomach man- or -man in a gender neutral use then you're probably a sexist.

Tangential: English lacks gender-neutral pronouns unless you want to use the plural form for both singular and plural (I do, since it is easier than revising entire sentences and sometimes it's just really hard to do without making the sentence really awkward).

Princeton is clearly guilty here of "Language Micro Agression" by "Minority Exlusivist Supremacist" behavior by developing a "Racial Profiled Gender Arrogance Platform" of "Gender Binary Discrimination" when many minorities have native languages that are "Gender Binary by Design". To respect the heritage of the pluralistic cultures of Planet Earth, all "Gender Inclusive" forms of the English Language should be completely avoided to parallel the the "Inherent Gender Binary Grammatical Forms" of languages such as Spanish and French.

In any case, regardless of language, all "Ocean Going Sea Vessels" must be Female with a semi-naked Female Mascot placed on or near the Bow or else much loss of life could occur due to "Sea Monsters".

The "First-World Supremacist Organization" known as Princeton cannot be permitted to engage in a "Cultural Revolution Revisionist Frenzy"of "Altering History", "Minority Discrimination" and "Orwellian Human Mind Control" via the disgusting misappropriation of Public Funds to promote such disturbing "Non-Inclusive Agendas" that tramples through the rich diversity of human culture.

"individual" instead of "man":

Opening of the PC version of the lord of the rings: "a last alliance of individuals and elves marched against the armies of mordor"

"chair" instead of "chairman. chairwoman"?!!

Really? How is anyone supposed to call their boss "chair" without getting fired.

Students Fight Back Against Political Correctness - The Rise Of "Cultural Libertarianism"

Submitted by Harith Armstrong and Kassy Dillon via HeatSt.com,

HARITH ARMSTRONG:

In both the United States and the United Kingdom, conservative and libertarian viewpoints have endured censorship on the Internet and on college campuses.

This has given rise to a new generation of animated and impassioned students keen on partaking in what’s been aptly described as the “cultural libertarian” movement.

Young millennials engaged in this movement come from a variety of backgrounds but are able to unite based on a fervent disdain for those that believe there are boundaries to what’s deemed “acceptable” speech - a hatred of authority; and a love of freedom and mischief.

As a conservative writer and student at King’s College London, I have been actively campaigning against political correctness.

...

...

JOINT CONCLUSION:

Uniting to give a voice to those students facing censorship or discrimination for holding respectable views is the way forward. The internet remains a place where young “cultural libertarians” have a chance to speak out against the hypocrisy of the left. News websites  have provided us with the opportunity to expose the way in which freedom of expression has been curtailed to appease the liberal-majority.

We both realize that university administrations cave to the will of those who are most organized. This is what gives us both hope and encouragement. Conservatives and libertarians need to unite to win this culture war.

We vow to do all we can to challenge the authoritarians at universities in the UK and USA. If we continue fighting, we’ll eventually become the majority.

History testifies that freedom always prevails.

Didn't anyone notice how they failed at being "PC" and gone very conservative at their explanation?

Trans people aren't 3rd gender.A trans women will always say and identify as a woman and a trans man will say/identify as a man.So what these Princeton sjw's/feminists saying is that a transgender men or women is not really a man or woman, they're the "other gender".I love it when they start as the savior of LGBT and then fail completely.

I don't mind saying businessperson or whatever. A lot of attempts at inclusive language are reasoned. To paraphrase George Carlin: it's when you get to stupid stuff like calling a manhole cover a personhole cover you have problems.

We had a silly little man here in Australia recently suggesting that people should avoid using the term "guys" when referring to a group of women or a group which included women. He's so enlightened he told us all how he has "removed that word from his lexicon". He's an insufferable ###### not unlike a lot of college/Uni students who've decided their contribution to an egalitarian society is to cleanse the language of everything they can plausibly interpret as being offensive.

That's more proof 99% of all the academia is pro-left.

Each participant must present his or her ID badge at the door.

This is how I've been taught. What's wrong with it? Oh, right, it may offend the LGBTQQ crowd! Especially the last Q, "the questioning" segment.

Male cow excrements!

p.s. The political correctness is just a smokescreen. This is a blatant continuing attack on men and masculinity. Their agenda is to completely demoralize and belittle men, so when something goes wrong, i.e. mass sexual attacks on women in Europe, a revolution, or a war, not even a single man ever thinks about of doing what a real man is supposed to do in those situations.

p.s. 2. In Sweden, they have a whole new generation of kids growing up who are being called a gender-neutral "hen", meaning "it", in day-care centres.
