Is this 850w PSU capable for GTX 1070/1080?

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817371018 this is my current PSU (yes, I know, it's old). Is it capable with GTX 1070/1080? The GPU box it says it needs a minimum 500w PSU with a minimum 12v current rating of 42a + 1*8 pin connector. It says Quadruple rail design for a total of 65A (780W) on +12V. If it isn't, which PSU would you recommend?

Hmm I guess my next question would be, since this is a traditional muti-rail system, does it require connectors to multiple 12v on the PSU or will intelligently combine the rails when needed through 1*8 pin connector?

add one per rail. (so use either 1x6 and 1x8 or 2x8 if thats what the 10 series use.)

Thanks Mando. For some reason I kept thinking PCI-E cables came in as multiple paired connectors like molex cables instead of a single connector for each cable (haven't done this in awhile).

Yeah power requirements are going down rather than up on new generation cards. So much for the "future-proofing" argument people used to justify 1200W+ PSUs just a few years ago.

Indeed. I'm going for a 650W PSU in my new build with a Titan XP.
