I have already asked on a Microsoft forum in vain ... A brief introduction of myself: My name is Andreas, but together, my wife and I use the pen-name "Codex Regius" because printing our surnames on our book covers would not be desirable, with the inevitable inflation of alien diacritical marks on them and everything. Our main profession is translating scientific and technical texts in the English/German language pair and in our spare time (if the kids allow us any) we are self-publishing non-fiction books like, recently, a volume on Pluto and the results of the New Horizons mission. Unfortunately, we cannot hire a system administrator, so, all the technical trouble is loaded on my back - like, currently, this annoying problem with Windows 10 referred to above.
