He's back...

Interesting...now I hope the Cubs do something to keep "pace". I still don't think Astros have enough to beat the Cubs but they've got enough to make it really interesting. I hope Hendry responds in a big way, but not in a "I'm making a move to make a move way". Sign Pudge, or Maddux, or both but be smart about it.

It will be fun to see him bat against some pitchers (Wood again, Randy Johnson, Prior)

I have to say that I'm kinda surprised. Not that he would come back, but that he came back to Houston. Isn't the stadium down there a hitter's stadium?

I just thought the way he retired the past season was the classy way to step down.

Good to see him back though, in the dictionary next to the word classy should be a pic of Clemens. Great for baseball.

Georgy-Porgy tried to show some restraint with his comments regarding the situation...

"Roger Clemens was a great warrior for the Yankees - a teacher and a leader. He told the world he was retiring and we had no choice but to believe him."

Is he planning of returning his "retirement" gift from the Yankees?

I'm sure somebody else in the Yankess organization could use a nice new Hummer....
