It could be for all kinds of things and a favorite is to gain membership at other sites. We want you to know that we know this exists and will act upon it if its reported to us (by forwarding the message with a short description) Seeing as we respect all members privacy the PM system is not moderated, however multiple complaints about one member or type of message being sent to members is acted upon without mercy. (PM restriction and/or ban) A few points to remember about the PM system. If a member is sending a PM to get you to sign-up at his website then theres a chance the same message is being sent to many other members, our affiliates and recommended links play by the rules and don't send unwanted PM/Email messages so help us remove unsolicited messages by reporting such activity. The PM is literally what it says "Private Messaging" thats to say if a member PM's you out of the blue with a rumor or accusation about another member or the site and its staff - consider it truth only after you have confirmed it be it the source or the person(s) talked about. We have alot of complaints about members using the PM system to victimize other members, complaints of this nature are handled swiftly.
