Different Error Every Shut Down/Restart

Recommended Posts

Every Time I shut down or restart I get a different error some causing me to have to boot from the cd and go to recovery console.

I have tried reformatting and reinstallin xp several times to no avail.

List of Errors:

1.User account may be corrupt.

-Usual fix is to make a new user account ad delete old

2.Windows can not verify the license for this computer.

3.Windows can not verify acitivation.

-Usual fix Recovery Console run chkdsk and FIXBOOT

4. Computer gets to Windows XP screen with blue scroll and then before it can get to welcome screen it just restarts and goes though his loop constantly.

-Only fix I've found is to reformat and reinstall XP

I haven't installed anything new lately and it never used to do this but now it is becomin common and m getting tired of reformatting.

is this a legit copy of xp?

and if not

then is it possible the cd is damaged or that it failed crc check or was a bad burn?

and if it is legit then is the cd scratched?

or did you use cleansweep to clean out stuff and it cleans out important files of XP w/o knowing it?

btw, RAMpage is better than RAM Idle.

Yeha the CD is kinda scratched, sometimes when installing it says it can't copy a file, but if i wipe the cd off a little the file finally comes through.

Thanks for the tip I'll check out RAMpage as soon as I fix this damn XP ****

P.S. of course its a "legit" copy, everyone here runs a legit copy

lmao

might be the cd since it hasnt happened before and just now is.....you should try and burn a brand new copy on a new cd (not copy from cd to cd since that one is kinda scratched and says it cant copy certain files sometimes, it might be copying something that is corrupt since it cant read it well and thats why you might get errors from copying corupt files)
