I forked out 199$ to get the Professional upgrade. It was the best 199$ I ever spent.

Oooo... now this is a touchy subject. There was a poll some time back and i think it was around 65% of neowin's users hadn't payed for XP. :p

I payed a little over $500 AUD for the full professional release. Personally i think its kinda hard to justify a price like that but hey... atleast i know im legitimate. ( for once ) :D

Got WIN XP PRO OEM for 160 bucks and a 8 dollar rounded IDE cable. Not unreasonable for the full thing IMHO

Gee I must be a sucker, I bought the XP Home Upgrade. But I got a Fuji Digital camera for free and sold it on ebay for $120. So I actually came out on top :-).
