They used to be part of Czechoslovakia. CANADA sucks because we have too many old men and no real system to play with. They are all too busy playing with the puck. They should be playing a cross-dump system for forecheking and establish the blue-line. Then we can dink around with the puck and make the fancy passes once we are in their zone. A 1-4 wouldn't be bad. Canada is playing without a heart. The canadian sports system is so full of politics. A lot of our athletes are in their twilight or past that stage and we need to give the new comers and the younger athletes a chance. Gretzky picked every one he played with or against.
